4. Voting & Ranking Rules
To ensure the integrity of our leaderboards and rankings, strictly prohibited behaviors include:
- Manipulation: Manipulate rankings or votes using bots, scripts, automation, or coordinated abuse.
- Vote Trading: Buying, selling, or trading votes in exchange for goods, services, or money.
- Sock Puppeting: Creating multiple accounts for the sole purpose of inflating votes or influencing community opinion.
Enforcement: Roborank reserves the right to audit votes, remove suspicious activity, disqualify teams, or ban users found violating these rules without prior notice.
5. Content Ownership & License
Your Content: You retain ownership of the content (text, images, media) you post on Roborank.
License to Us: By posting content, you grant Roborank a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with the Service (e.g., displaying your robot photos on the leaderboard).
Removal: We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate, at our sole discretion.
6. Intellectual Property
The Roborank Service, including its branding, logo, source code, database structure, and design, is the exclusive property of Roborank and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of the Service without prior written permission.
Note: References to "VEX" or other third-party organizations are for identification purposes only and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.
7. Prohibited Uses
In addition to User Conduct rules, you agree NOT to:
- Disrupt Services: Attempt to disrupt, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service.
- Scrape Data: Access or collect data from the Service using automated means (robots, spiders, scrapers) without permission.
- Abuse API: Overload, flood, or spam our API or servers.
8. Termination & Suspension
